In this blog, you will know how to make a delicious creamy mango lassi which is quick and easy, using simple ingredients!
Lassi:
Lassi is a sweet or savoury Indian drink made from yogurt/buttermilk and water.
Lassi drinks are found in many South Asia and Middle East countries like India. It is served during the meals with the spicy meat dishes.
Mango is one of my favourites as it is smooth, sweet and super delicious. Mango is also considered as the "King of Fruits" in India. Did you know that??? Well because of its sweet taste and is commonly used as dessert or Refreshment. Aside from its heavenly taste, mangoes are known to have a lot of health benefits.
Mango lassi is an Indian based drink. It can also be made as Smoothie too. If mangoes are your favourites then you got to try this. This drink can quench your thirst on the hottest day and also fulfil your desires for sweets, yet still it is a refreshing healthy drink.
This luscious, creamy and super delicious, thick mango lassi, an Indian version of a mango smoothie, requires only a few ingredients and tastes heavenly! Deliciousness in a glass!

MANGO LASSI
This creamy Mango Lassi recipe has just a handful of ingredients and is easy to prepare. It is refreshing, healthy, natural and yummilicious.
Servings: 2 Prep Time: 5 minutes Course: Drink
Cuisine: Indian
Ingredients:
1 cup mango
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp honey or other syrup (optional to taste)
1 small piece of ginger (optional to taste)
1/2 tsp turmeric (optional)
*Other than that you can also always add a pinch of cardamom to mango lassi.
*Optionally, saffron, chopped pistachios and ground cardamom can be used to garnish the drink.
How to make it Instructions:
Peel mango, cut off the flesh, discard the seed and peel .
Add mango flesh, yogurt, milk, honey, and cardamom into a blender container.
Blend all ingredients until puree smooth, add other optional ingredients as above to taste.
Garnish it with small cut pieces of mango and use an edible/eco-friendly straw to drink the lassi.
Enjoy!
Storage:
You can store mango lassi in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
Adjust the taste of the drink to your liking...
Adding ginger and turmeric to your lassi can boost your immune system.
The mango lassi is already a healthy lassi to drink. If you add the ginger and turmeric, it gets more healthier as an immune boosting drink! Now the situation around the world is with the flu and other stuff, we will be needing to boost our immune system and I can't think of any other better way to boost my immune system.
